CODE GEASS Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 2nd Opening Theme – WORLD END

WORLD END
Vocals: FLOW
Lyrics: Asakawa Koshi & Hayashi Keigo
Composition: Asakawa Takeshi
Arrangement: FLOW & Tsutaya Koichi

The light that was born at the world’s end is now in the wind

I can’t live just by whitewashing
I can’t heal just by kindness

What was stolen?
In an unchanging world
What did I hear?
A colorful song

Everything is bright

So to let shattered dreams echo to the edge of tomorrow
Light was born at the world’s end; we become one, now in the wind

I can’t laugh like it’s someone else’s business
I can’t wipe it away just with loneliness

What was won?
At the end of the fighting
What did I hear?
A sad shout

Everything is crying

So to let shattered dreams echo to the edge of tomorrow
Light was born at the world’s end; we become one, now in the wind

Don’t let anyone cry; return to your filled heart; overcome just about everything already

Everything is bright

So to let the sky that I saw back then reach ahead of my wishes
In the morning that creates the world’s beginning, we’re pure white, now we become the wind

歌: FLOW
作詞: Asakawa Koshi & Hayashi Keigo
作曲: Asakawa Takeshi
編曲: FLOW & Tsutaya Koichi

世界の終わりで 生まれた光 今 風の中

綺麗事だけじゃ生きれない
優しさだけじゃ癒せない

奪われたのは何だ?
変わらない世界で
聞こえて来たのは何だ?
色彩の歌

Everything is bright

Everything is crying

砕け散った夢を 明日の果てに 響かせるように
世界の終わりで 生まれた光 僕ら一つに 今 風の中

誰も泣かせないで 帰れ 満たす心に もう何もかも超えて

Everything is bright

あの日見た空を 願いの先へ 届かせるように
世界の始まり 創造の朝に 僕ら真っ白い 今 風になる

hello, i just did a trans of the whole song using ur translation and the rest of it being my own. Thank you som much. Some parts i really couldnt hear so hopefully you can correct anything that u spot. I am also going to post the lyrics on narutoforums.com under the name neji-kun05rocks. Agian thank you so much.

    -snipped by Atashi: ick-

  2. @ Christian Deleveaux:
You can take a look at the whole I did here:
    http://forums.animesuki.com/showpost.php?p=1701028&postcount=498

And from the looks of it you’re nearly copying my translation word for word (for the TV size section at least), so please do not take credit for yourself and do link back to this page.

sweet! now i just have to download the mp3 version….luv CGR2’s new op, sad that Shirley’s not in it…

  4. I agree… *sniffles* At least she has a CLAMP illustration all to herself in the ED.

  5. Christian Deleveaux

yea i did say that i used ur trans for the first part but it doesnt really matter all that much as no one seems to be interested in it over at nautoforums. So if i get credit for them then ill just say that i got them from you 🙂

p.s yours does seem to be more right anyway 🙂 sry for all the problems ive caused you

  6. “Everything is wild”?

    Are you sure about that?

  7. I’v gone through this part of the song and I realy don’t think it’s “Wild”. It does sound like it, but still…

    Options:
    “Hurt” – i dont think so >_>
“Right” – #gg – most likly this is it.

    What do you think?

  8. I have no clue, actually. XD It’s just a wild guess on my part.

  9. If it makes any difference, Eclipse used “heart” in their sub…

  10. ” Bright ” ? …

  11. I also hear “everything is bright” when I closely listen to the song.

And as usual in the japanese songs, there are sentences which don’t make any sense : there are no connections between “hikari” and “ima” so it’s up to us to guess if the first part of the sentence is linked with the second or if they are separated…

A hell of a guesswork (and this one is quite easy compared to other openings/endings !)

  12. What i heard on my part was… Everyythinggg is mild?

  13. I think it’s “right”… Makes more sense in the context of the song.

  14. I’ve always heard it as “everything is fine,” but I suppose we’ll never know until the CD booklet’s lyrics are made available.

  15. i think it’s bright it says, not 100% sure though

  16. I’m pretty sure it’s heart, well that’s what my subs say anyway done by Eclispe.

  17. Its definetly ‘everything is bright’
here’s a pic with the lyrics

  18. @ Funny08:
    Thanks~
You don’t happen to have scans for other OP/ED song that debuted recently, do you?

  19. I think what atashi meant was where did you find those ?

I’m also interested in the answer !

PS : CG R2’s ED has been released and is on the net, but I still can’t find scans of the booklet though…

I think it’s actually “Everything is gone”,
    because it’s the world end…

I was downloading the last OP of CGR2, It’s called “Hitomi NO Tsubasa” by one of my favorites groups – “Access” or “AXS”.
I have the lyrics, but i don’t sure those are the right ones. 😛

  21. Hi;

    Taningoto mitai waraenai

    他人事みたいに笑えない

    You missed the “ni” xd

btw, thanks for the lyrics, I appreciate 😛
