Let Me Be With You
Vocals: ROUND TABLE featuring Nino
Lyrics: Kitagawa Katsutoshi
Composition: Kitagawa Katsutoshi
Arrangement: ROUND TABLE
Casting magic that seems as if we can certainly meet
Because when we quietly hold hands, look, I’ll smile
Pretending to not notice our true feelings
Suddenly, the two of us fell in love
Let Me Be With You
Let Me Be With You
Let Me Be With You
I want to hug you
While I couldn’t say it all this time until now, I’d hidden it
I’m bluffing that I’m strong, that’s it, so find me
Please wait 5 more minutes for our rendevous
Afterwards, the two of us fell in love
Let Me Be With You
Let Me Be With You
Let Me Be With You
I feel like crying
When you quietly let go of our joined hands
I become worried, I become worried
Let Me Be With You
Let Me Be With You
Let Me Be With You
Though I want to hug you
Though I want to hug you
Let Me Be With You

great post was looking around for the opening theme text thanks so much !
nice movie and lyrics very nice so nice
I thought the first of “Dakishimetai no” means “I want to hold you tight” not I want to embrace you.
That is another, correct interpretation of the lyrics. Different translators translate differently.
…been looking for the japanese lyrics, thanks a lot!
…i also thought “dakishimitai no” meant “i want to hold you tight”…
Yeah, that is another, correct interpretation of the lyrics.
i thought it was “dakishimitai no ni”
