Puella Magi Madoka☆Magica the Movie Part I: Beginnings Insert Song – Mirai

Adapted from the BGM track Credens Justitiam.

Lyrics: Kajiura Yuki
Composition: Kajiura Yuki
Arrangement: Kajiura Yuki

Please grant my dream
Just by having you look
at the same light
of the star that I searched for all alone
When the usual night is steeped in darkness
I should be able to break into a run
Like hearts that aren’t alone

The sky entering dawn
keeps betraying
the tomorrow someone believed in
Nevertheless, I won’t give up
on the tiny prayers
I simply want to embrace you
when you’re in tears about how you can’t reach me
I’ll be by your side, forever

A lonely heart like yours
will end up losing what’s precious to you
So I’ll tell you to believe in a tender future, just for a little
I want to thaw out your sorrow

The city became quiet
Within the days that you painted
When the countless
lights of dreams go out
The usual night begins to shine
Wanting to protect you
I’ll go with my heart that isn’t alone
to the future

  1. I love how they used Clemens Justitia (in my opinion the best of the character leitmotifs) for this.
