Consentes Dei/Juno/Jupiter/Minerva/Apollo/Mars/Ceres
Mercurius/Diana/Bacchus/Vulcanus/Pluto/Vesta/Venus
In the depths of my nap, my eyes shake while closed
The god of dreams smiles elegantly and issues death
The chains of causality controlling space and time begin to get tangled
It’s a fantasy Program bestowed by God
C’mon, eins zwei drei! We’ll come together
C’mon, eins zwei drei! Cheating death
I’ll steal away the miracle I yearn for in a game of annihilation, Survival game
Like a spiral
Consentes Dei/Juno/Jupiter/Minerva/Apollo/Mars/Ceres
Mercurius/Diana/Bacchus/Vulcanus/Pluto/Vesta/Venus
In order to rewrite the ephemeral future
The noise of rebirth connecting fantasies together resounds
Time distorts and the laws of causality crumble away
It’s the succession Program bestowed by God
C’mon, eins zwei drei! We’ll join together
C’mon, eins zwei drei! Shaking free from death
I’ll challenge the miracle of opposing a game of annihilation, Eraser game
Like in a dream
It’s the mechanical Program bestowed by God
C’mon, eins zwei drei! We’ll come together
C’mon, eins zwei drei! Cheating death
eins zwei drei! We’ll join together
C’mon, eins zwei drei! Shaking free from death
I’ll steal away the miracle I yearn for in a game of annihilation, Survival game
Like a spiral
The pitying observers
are farther away than the life and death I yearn for
There is an endless miracle
in the miniature garden at the very end
Or so I believed

(german for 1, 2, 3)
reminds me of mephisto in ao no exorcist XD
Wow….how the heck did “Mesorogwi” become “Mythology”, I’ll have no idea but: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1etpTkjn5WE
メソログィ/Mesorogwi are just phonetics so that japanese can speak english.
It reads in German, as Mythologie.
Pluto is not in the Consentes Dei ._.
@Miranda,
No he is. The beginning is a list of ROMAN gods/goddesses. Pluto happens to be the god of death/the underworld in Roman mythology who is the double of the Greek god Hades.
They are not Roman, they are the 12 GREEK gods. “In ancient Greece, the 12 major gods were called the Olympians. In ancient Rome, the 12 major gods were called the Dei Consentes.” What Romans changed is that Pluto isn’t in the Dei Consentes, Vulcan is instead. But I see the opeening lists all 13 names. [ source: http://rome.mrdonn.org/romangods/12gods.html ]
And Pluto is the same person as Hades in Greek mythology, the name is used differently though in every myth. “The borrowed Greek name Pluto is sometimes used for the ruler of the dead in Latin literature, leading some mythology handbooks to assert misleadingly that Pluto was the Roman counterpart of Hades” [ source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pluto_(mythology) ]
And by the way, because I saw that mentioned as well, the word “mythology” in the name of the song is Greek as well, it is borrowed by many languages, like english; it’s not german. -.-
At the beginning of the song, like the VERY beginning where there’s a muddle of words, does anyone know what the people are saying?
I got ‘Chii, Vestas, Vestas, Vestas….SURVIVE!’
I know that I definitely got ‘SURIVIVE!’ part right and I feel like the other words are just repeats of the list of gods/goddesses but I also feel like I’m terribly wrong~
Yes, I also hear that.
I think it might be German, since I hear “Ich bin” in the first phrase. (CMIIW)
Unfortunately German is not my major. ==a
@Tsuu Yeah, I can hear that~ Ah! It’s somewhat annoying that the band/uploaders didn’t post ALL the lyrics~!
Ummm, “Ich Bin” means “I am” right? I used google translate but you can never be too certain~ I have a few friends who can speak German, so I’ll have them look at the song! XD
Here’s a rough translation:
“In this rotten and destroyed world
You have to do it
You have to achieve it
Fight to live and don’t die
Do not die! (Survive!)”
Hope this was helpful. 🙂
Oh my god! …awskignzoeigkln you are a saint! This has been pretty much killing me~ thank you 🙂 ♥
You’re welcome! It always bugs me when I don’t know the lyrics to a song, so I was glad to help out! 😀
And so, which is the original language then?
Is it german? Japanese?
@zweixisis i hear almost the same only right befor survive i hear something like “this is what we say”?…survive but im not sure if its right since its unclear
@Rance Ohhhh~ that could work as well! Okay! We might be getting somewhere! XD
ahahahaha
yes, yes!! so cool! ahaha! i love mirai nikki!!!! 🙂
@Eva Diaz
>>Well then, you’re welcome here anytime!
@anyone in general: The ending of the anime made me SOOOOO pissed off though! Scuze the language people but…it did. A certain favorite character of mine died by Yuno’s hand and it was left as an open ending…GRRRR T^T
why does neptune no included?
Neptune is a Roman god. They are naming Greek gods.
actually they’re all roman gods. Zeus, Hera, Dionysus, etc are the greek gods. Neptune isn’t included because he isn’t one of the 12 Dii Consentes, who are listed in the beginning of the song.
