Sunbeams Streaming Through the Leaves
Vocals: riya
Lyrics: Key
Composition: Togoshi Magome
Arrangement: Takumaru
Adapted from original BGM track “Ushio”
Tears spill and fall because of what?
It’s because we’ve aged too much
There’s nothing we can give you anymore
Go find your own flower
and advance, advance to the future
It’s not that we can’t meet anymore
It’s just that I’m just rowing out to the vast sea
The ship is leaving; c’mon, wave your hand
Tears spill and fall because of what?
It’s because we’ve aged too much
Rocking in my chair, I dreamed–
Of the sunbeams streaming through the leaves on the day
when you were born within a small blessing
Of the happy days

I LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE Ushio…..
Honto ni!
Very nice song.
No words could be enough to describe how grateful I’m for this translation. This song is just so beautiful, so simple yet so deep. I’ve recently completed Clannad with my father, watching every episode together and now reading this song’s translation has brought tears to my eyes.
From my heart of hearts, thank you, thank you so much.

Hey man I love this translation it’s very good!
But I think may be you’ve mistranslated a little part of the lyrics.
On the third paragraph second line, You translated “Oounabara ni kogidashite yuku dake” into “It’s just that I’m just rowing out to the vast sea”.
However I think it should not be “I’m”, it should be “you’re”.
Because this lyrics is the given words from the parents (probably Tomoya and Nagisa) to the grown up child (Ushio).
And the child is going for the first adventure in the life.
So the one who is “rowing out to the vast sea” should be the child. And in the parents view, it’s “You”.
Or may be you can just discard the Personal pronoun, for it doesn’t exist in the original lyrics.
Sorry for my poor English ^ ^
And once again, this translation is pretty good!
