Puzzle of Time
Vocals: Asahina Mikuru
I don’t know everything
But it’s a happy puzzle of place and time
This floaty and gentle feeling
I wonder if it fits in
Somehow I can’t, why can’t I succeed?
I’m immature, so I worry
Would you like some sweet and fragrant tea?
I’d like you to laugh, even just a little
I want to illuminate your chest
To be with you forever and ever…
…Is it impossible?
Please take your time
Raise your voice and chat a little bit
Is it okay to show you what was born
In the depths of my pounding heart?
Immediately my tears, one by one my tears spill out
I’ll become stronger and look upwards
Rather than engraving my memories tomorrow
I want to embrace this moment
But I’m sure that I can’t grasp it
It’ll escape like a little bluebird…
…To the far side
Would you like some sweet and fragrant tea?
I’d like you to laugh, even just a little
I want to illuminate your chest
To be with you forever and ever…
…Is it impossible?

I liked this song simply because it was so beautifully expressive, and also the very sweet tune of the song. It seemed to fir Asahina-san too well; a little tinge of sadness mixing with her outwardly happy facade.
Ah, well.

Correction: in the romaji, sixth line (second (last) line of the second section), ‘mijiku’ should probably be ‘mijuku’.
Thanks!
