Detective Conan 1st Opening Theme – Mune ga Dokidoki

My Chest Pounds
Vocals: THE HIGH-LOWS

It’s the end of a century after a hundred years; I was told to cry yet I laughed
It’s the end of a century after a long time; I’ll dash out to a broad world

Things that I was starting to understand when I was a child-
I grew up and I still don’t understand them

I’m not remarkable
I’m not even praiseworthy
What I understand is the pounding in my chest
It’s not even the answer; it’s not even true
What I believe in is the pounding in my chest
Only in the pounding in my chest

I don’t know if it’s cool
But I had an irrepressible dream
Rather than pitching a plan and waiting patiently, I’ll run into it still as a child

Even if I raised a flag at the end of the universe
I still wouldn’t understand the mystery of the universe

I’m not remarkable
I’m not even praiseworthy
What I understand is the pounding in my chest
It’s not even the answer; it’s not even true
What I believe in is the pounding in my chest

I’m not remarkable
I’m not even praiseworthy
What I understand is the pounding in my chest
It’s not even the answer; it’s not even true
What I believe in is the pounding in my chest
Only in the pounding in my chest

  1. is there any place i could get this song? but in full version not just like in the oppening

  2. OMGAH! Godly song! I have the album with this on it 🙂 Hiroto is incredible! and his shoes are funny. To the guy before me- this song is on an album called Flip Flop (look up on ebay, where I got it.) along with another song that featured in DC: Soba ni Iru Kara. The single of the song is cheaper, but hard to find~

“Boku no migite wo shirimasen ka?”

  3. what about the english version that plays in Case Closed?
