10/10/2009: Quick update: I have schoolwork to deal with and I only have free time to play the game during weekends. This is why Part XII isn’t done yet.
09/27/2009: Updated to Part XI. Battler is in for a world of hurt

Good morning.
It’s a new game by a new gamemaster,
so please take your time enjoying it.

Naturally, the game has already reached its climax.
The culprit is cornered and can only wait for checkmate.
So, indeed, there must be something that is able to look over all.

The difficulty level is Easy.

Cosplay + Katawa Shoujo

I apologize for that I have barely put up anything in the past month or so, because I’ve been quite busy with cosplay and Katawa Shoujo. I’ve been working on two costumes and I still have three or four more to go for other friends by the Anime Evolution deadline. Just as I thought I was finally finding some free time and being able to go back and write for Sankaku Complex again, Katawa Shoujo hit like a truck. I didn’t expect much from 4chan, but the game was surprisingly enjoyable, and I’d definitely play the full version when it comes out. As a result, I’ve been researching the feasibility of a Katawa Shoujo cosplay and making a bunch of fan stuff for the series. I contributed very minor things to the game back in 2007 and corrected the kanji for all of the names at one point in 2008, but I’m unsure if how much of that is still around now. I can’t remember whether I suggested anything else or not.

….Nevertheless, I still don’t understand how Hanako is so popular amongst men. She’s my least favorite heroine. My ranking goes like:
Shizune = Emi > Lilly = Misha > Rin >>> [wall] >>> Hanako

Touhou Seirensen ~ Undefined Fantastic Object

In true ZUN fashion, I drew this under MS Paint.

I’ve been playing the demo version of the latest Touhou game, Touhou Seirensen ~ Undefined Fantastic Object. I admit that I absolutely suck at the game (and most games, for that matter) and I still haven’t beaten the Stage 3 Boss on Easy Mode yet. It took me two months of playing to beat the Stage 3 Boss of the last Touhou demo, for Subterranean Animism. At least I’m doing slightly better with Touhou 12, having made it to Stage 3 within the first day of playing the demo.

Now ladies (and gentlemen, you know who you are), start your sewing machines… The first cosplay of the newly introduced character can’t be more than a week away.

The ~~fall~~ winter 2009 anime season started almost two months ago and I’ve seen everything that I’ve wanted to check out in the new season…and frankly it was disappointing. Winter 2009 barely offered anything good. Sora Kake Girl is boring; Sunrise should’ve just made some crack spin-off of Code Geass instead. KyoAni’s offering, Sora o Miageru Shojo no Hitomi ni Utsuru Sekai, a handful to type out, is merely a display of how far the studio has come since Munto. The first episodes were essentially rehashes of Munto animation. I’m not a fan of magical genre, so I’ve stopped watching that after one episode (the bad animation didn’t help).
