I suspect that it is a typo on the booklet lyrics organizer’s part, but it might have been intentional as well. I’m keeping “KILA” until I find further evidence that it should be corrected to “KIRA”.
From looking at past blog stats, I know that Death Note songs will be extremely popular, so I’ve put the song up for download before the lyrics make it into the top five.

The End of Something & The Beginning of Something
September 10, 2006 at 10:42 pm | In Announcement, Death Note | 4 CommentsWell, after uploading over 250 translations of lyrics onto this site, I’m finally done with moving everything here. If you’ve monitored this site for the past week (I really doubt anyone did), you’d have seen the songs listed in reversed alphabetical order and never find the same songs on the front page every time you visited. Now it’s over. I don’t actually translate that much lyrics a week. The 250+ translations are the result of accumulation for over two years, and about 100 of them are from Digimon. So new lyrics will be posted here every once in a while, depending on which anime shows I’m watching and when their CDs are released, or the number of requests that I get.
In nearly completely unrelated news, the opening theme, ending theme, and voice actors for some of the characters in the upcoming Death Note anime have been announced:
Opening Theme: the WORLD
Ending Theme: Alumina 「アルミナ」
Both songs are done by the band Nightmare.
Yagami Light - Miyano Mamoru (voiced Tamaki in Ouran High School Host Club, Riku in Kingdom Hearts)
L (Ryuuzaki) - Yamaguchi Kappei (voiced InuYasha in InuYasha, Shinichi in Detective Conan, Ranma in Ranma ½)
Amane Misa - Hirano Aya (voiced Haruhi in Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu)
…Well, with the Tamaki + Haruhi combo, I can see the ultimate awesome & weirdness starting on the horizon already. ^__^ Oh noes, now I’m going to see Light in a melodramatic light every time he comes on-screen. Yes, I’ll be watching and blogging Death Note for sure. I have faith in Madhouse.
