I’ve completed my psychiatric therapy and got readmitted to college. I’m flying back to the east coast on Sunday, the 24th. A friend of mine told me about Another Anime Convention and after a few posts on the forums, I was invited to attend the Summer Matsuri convention as Fujioka Haruhi for Cosplay Chess. I’m so happy that I can finally go to an anime convention this year and not let my Swimsuit Konata costume go to waste. (You see, Anime Boston 2009 will be held in May, which I cannot make it to)

Pointed out by someone on the LJ Code Geass community, Production Baobab posted a blog entry about the GO! GO! 5 FES ‘08 featuring Koishimizu Ami and Fukuyama Jun. They are cosplaying the characters that they voice for Code Geass (though Fukuyama is only doing a ghetto job of it XD) and rumors have it that the Black Knights uniform Koshimizu has on in the photo will be on sale sometime in the near future. Since I think Animate was one of the sponsors of the event, I believe that the costume will be sold through Animate’s ACOS shop. Huzzah! Now if only they’d showcase the Ashford Academy uniforms…

I’ve been doing a lot of short versions lately since it’s easier to memorize and sing half of a song than to do for a full version. I also posted the karaoke videos to Nico Nico Douga, where people have commented that they sound like Hirano Aya, Shimotsuki Haruka, and/or Hatsune Miku. XD It’s pretty hilarious that people also remarked, “I’m Japanese and I can’t sing the song”.
