Goodsmile Company’s Mikatan blog made an announcement today that the announcement for GSC and Max Factory’s Wonder Festival 2008 [Summer] goods will be made on June 20, 2008, in Japan time. It looks like four items will be made exclusively available for WF 2008 [S] and possibly for web orders afterwards.

By now, I’m sure everyone else and their grandmas have already put up anime preview lists for Spring 2008, so I’ll make this quick and short, without hastily screencapped pictures from the official websites. Interest levels are ranked from Guaranteed - High - Middle - Low. Shows that I have absolutely no interest in are not listed below.
An additional note: I’ll probably put up TV size versions of the lyrics of songs of below animes when they air.

Lelouchie! Lelouchie! I can’t wait for season 2 of Code Geass to start… I have to offer my great gratitude to the person who recommended me to watch the first season when it aired; without you, I never would’ve started on the series (and consequently fallen in a deep pit of Lelou-worshipping). I want to see what happens to Nunnally, if Rollo turns out to be a trap (OH GEASS NO!), and Anya’s backstory. At least Uzaku (2ch’s nickname for Suzaku) has gone GAR for the second season while Lelouch grew himself a wimpy mullet.
Hospitalization

Long story short, I got locked up in the psychiatric ward for four days and when they did let me go, I had to go straight to the airport and fly back home to Oregon. Yes, I’m in Oregon now on medical leave from college.
I offer my apologies to the people who wanted to meet up at Anime Boston. Needless to say, my group’s Masquerade skit (filled with Haruhi, Lucky Star, and Caramelldansen) and the Lucky Star Panel (advertised in the AB booklet) were completely done for. I was looking forward to three days of observing rabid fandom and prancing around in Swimsuit!Konata cosplay, complete with a green inner tube… I suppose I’ll just pull it off next year.

And thus, my sad attempt to cosplay at a game tourney event.
I’m going to a Nintendo-sponsored Super Smash Bros. Brawl tournament on Saturday, March 1st. Since it’s Spring Break and I have nothing better to do, I will be cosplaying Konata and practicing the Lucky☆Star dance with some friends at the event. I’ve played 30 minutes of Melee in my life, so I think I’ll lose within Round 1 of the tourney.
No, Izumi Konata is not actually in the game.

No, I fear that I’m not that much better off than my ronery counterparts… I do have a boyfriend, but he’s on the other side of the continent in another country, so I won’t get to see him until May. Here at college, I’m terrible at socializing and stay in my room all day working on anime-related stuff, which probably worsens my situation. ;_; At least my school offers an annual chocolate fondue buffet, so I’ll probably go stuff myself on that later.

I’ll be ordering items from COSPA, whose goods are usually the official licensed items in Japan, and the store DOES NOT ship overseas. They’re worth every penny (though full cosplay costume sets cost anywhere from $300 and up X.X).

And if this is of any interest to you, the items that I’m considering ordering are the Shakugan no Shana Alastor pendant, the Ouran blazer patch, and Neon Genesis Evangelion hair node clips. Cospa also has a huge selection of body pillowcases, but alas, none of them featuring male characters.
