Stuff From 2004

This is ridiculous.

I logged into my ancient Geocities account after guessing through my security question by sheer luck (Who was your childhood hero?) and found that I did leave a few things behind in my account, dated from 2004.

The old site I ran was called “Hitorijime Anime Lyrics”, the vestiges of which can be found on a handful of lyrics submission sites.

Here are some of the things that I found: (God, my art sucked)

And a copy of the e-mail sent out to members of the Digimon Adventure & Tamers Club mailing list on Septer 11th, 2002, commemorating the September 11th attacks a year prior.

  1. wow, even from 5 years ago, the art is pretty good. some of it seems CLAMP-influenced? your original character designs are really nice too.

i can also remember some of your original lyrics translations, which i would find at the now defunct animelyrics.net under the name Li Jianliang. and i would see the same so many times, i ended up wondering who you were, your age, what kind of person you were, that kind of thing. i admired your translations even then, and i’m glad to have learned more about you since then.

keep up the good work, as usual. :]

  2. Wow, I can definately see how your art is a lot different now from what it used to be. Honestly though, some of these drawings aren’t that bad. ^^

  3. W-wow, your voice clip really startled me. You have such a clear-cut voice. Your pronunciation is something fierce too.
