Fortune Club Gurren Lagann Journey Chapter ~Believe in the Fortunes that We Believe in!~

- The ever-adorable chara fortune makeover has made its way into Gurren Lagann. There will be 12 variations of the 25mm (inch-tall) keychain figurine renditions of Gurren Lagann characters, to be sold in box sets of 24 for 8,064 yen, or 336 yen each. The Gurren Lagann Fortunes are scheduled to be released in late April 2009.
- I admit that I’ve been a fan of the chara fortunes ever since getting one of Euphemia-sama from Code Geass. While I’ve never watched Gurren Lagann, the Nia fortune is too cute to pass up.

Kuroshitsuji Bath Set

- A set of Kuroshitsuji-themed bathing accessories. The set includes a 50ml bottle of rose-scented bath gel (enough for two bubble baths), three 55mm-long metal bobby pins, one small towel measuring about 400mm×350mm big, and a bonus picture printed on glossy photo paper. Animate is currently taking preorders for the set, which retails for 1,785 yen and is to be released on February 26th, 2009.
- Even if I can’t take baths here (there’s only a shower stall in my dorm apartment), I’d get the set just for the bobby pins, though if it’s just the bobby pins that I’d want, the Vampire Knight bath set has more attractive ones…

Kuroshitsuji Gift Chocolate

- Funtom chocolate for the perfect Valentine’s Day or White Day gift! Animate took preorders for the chocolate gift set, but either the preorder period is now over or they’ve sold out already. Each set contains a chocolate bar in a Funtom company-themed wrapper, a lined memo sheet, and a tiny crown necklace. The set will retail for 1,260 yen and the release date for the gift chocolate is February 12th, 2009.
- This might be a really silly reason, but I recently broke a crown necklace, so I’ve been looking into getting a replacement, and this Kuroshitsuji one seems to be a good temporary solution until I can get my old necklace fixed. Plus, it comes with a bar of chocolate, and I can’t say no to chocolate.

Chara Fortune Series Macross Frontier Fortunes Triangler Set

- Following up on the regular box set of Macross Frontier chara fortunes, a special Triangler set will also be sold in late April 2009, in time for Ranka’s birthday, which is on April 29th. The set of four chara fortunes, to retail for 1,050 yen, features a winking Ranka, Sheryl, Alto, and Mr. Japanese Giant Salamander (AKA Ranka’s iSlug cellphone). Preorders are currently under way at Animate.
