Cospatio Ranka Lee Stage Outfit

- Cospatio has rolled out their rendition of Ranka Lee’s orange number from Macross Frontier. The set includes the frilly camisole, skirt with a detachable rose bow, frilly underskirt, sleeves, hair bow, giant bow for the back, ribbon for the microphone, wrist bows, and shoe bows, all made of 100% polyester. For the entire set, it will retail for 42,000 yen and scheduled to be released in late December. What aren’t included but still vital for the costume are a short petticoat and long thigh-high socks with orange stripes, both of which are sold separately from Cospatio.
- Ranka is cute, but this orange outfit is fugly. Combined with her green hair it’s an utter mess. The outfit isn’t even form-fitting, either, so whoever wears it in real life instantly gains 20 lbs. I can’t believe someone cooked it up in the first place; it’s got to be one of the worst outfits for Ranka. So maybe this is the costume that I saw featured from the Ita-G Festa. I hope ACOS hurries up and puts their version out, which I predict to be 7,140 yen.
