Macross Frontier Insert Song – Anata no Oto
October 12, 2008 at 4:12 am | In Lyrics - English, Lyrics - Romaji, Macross Frontier | 3 CommentsYour Sound
Vocals: Nakajima Megumi as Ranka Lee
Lyrics: Mana Anju
Composition: Kanno Yoko
Arrangement: Kanno Yoko
Your sound goes, ‘b-bmp, b-bmp, b-bmp’
I hear it, ‘b-bmp, b-bmp, b-bmp’
It’s a living sound, a tender sound, so it’s a painful sound that I hear
If we can laugh together like how the wind makes flowers bloom
If our tears fall like how the rain moistens grass
Our wish will be all right; we don’t need a coat of suspicion anymore
Even if we’re hindered by the era, it’s all right; we can’t ever part again
Your sound goes, ‘b-bmp, b-bmp, b-bmp’
I hear it, ‘b-bmp, b-bmp, b-bmp’
It’s a living sound, a tender sound, so it’s a painful sound that I hear
Love goes, ‘b-bmp, b-bmp, b-bmp’
Until I wake up, ‘b-bmp, b-bmp, b-bmp’
I want to touch more of your loneliness with my hands
While we waited for daybreak, our eyes were tightly shut
If we can look at each other like how the stars connect in the darkness
If our fears melt away like how the moon forgives everything
We can fly without hesitation, right? Even the needle of the compass still doesn’t know
We can even fly ahead of today, right? I want to protect you forever
Your sound goes, ‘b-bmp, b-bmp, b-bmp’
It’s faint, but it’s a ‘b-bmp, b-bmp, b-bmp’
Every time when our shoulders bump, my heart quickens so much that I can’t breathe
My chest goes, ‘b-bmp, b-bmp, b-bmp’
The certain thing is ‘b-bmp, b-bmp, b-bmp’
My feelings and that plum-blue sky
Are so beautiful and immobile, for the two of us
…It’s a living sound, a tender sound, so it’s a painful sound that I hear
Love goes, ‘b-bmp, b-bmp, b-bmp’
Until I wake up, ‘b-bmp, b-bmp, b-bmp’
I want to touch more of your loneliness with my hands
While we waited for daybreak, our eyes were tightly shut

XD Going by songs, Ranka got her man.
This part,
Kono kimochi to puramu buruu no ano sora
Sugoku kirei de ugokanai futari
Instead of “my feelings”, “this feeling” is more appropriate.
“This feeling and the plum blue sky
So beautiful I can’t move. Two of us…a living sound, a gentle sound thefore a painful sound, I can hear it coming”
Just my blurb. Thanks for taking the time translating the songs!
