Ultimate moe, I almost died ;_;

Wonder Festival 2008 [Summer] has come and gone and many major figurine blogs have updated with photos of the event. I’ve browsed through hundreds of photos now and, like always, some of the garage kits that were the best in show are ones that I can never get, since I don’t know how to paint or assemble garage kit figurines. The figurines in this post are ones that I’d definitely considering purchasing if they were ever produced completed (as opposed to unpainted/disassembled). I’m not posting any major company’s merchandise since they have plenty of coverage already.

The most exciting part of WF was probably when the escalator got overloaded and started running in reverse. The video even made my local news the next day.

I’m pretty sure that these two were previously sold at the last WF, too. Stellar Touhou figurines. I can’t believe that no major company has picked them up (or the makers don’t want mass production)

Max Factory should do a static scaled Lelouch figurine. It’s not too removed from their figma.BP Lelouch, is it?

These were also previously sold at other events.

Also sold at previous events. This C.C. figurine has the best dynamic sculpt out of the half dozen or so present at WF.

Simply GORGEOUS. O.O

And of course, no collection is complete without Emperor WAKAMOTO’s bust shining in the midst. You can almost hear him roar.

They need to mass produce and release those Hanyuu and Rika figures >____< I’ve been waiting for a Hanyuu one x_x

You can try searching on Japanese auction sites like Yahoo! Auction Japan, MobiAuc, and Rakuten and buy something from a seller there. You can also wait and see if the original maker would make more for the next event he attends.
