Dearth of Male Figurines (and Body Pillowcases)

The best offering that I’ve seen yet,
but ball-joints scare me after staring them for a while.
Recently I’ve developed an interest in figurines and pillowcases, in which the possession thereof are hallmarks of extremely sad otaku-ism, but I’m going to ignore that for now. After looking through the offerings of major Japanese figurine and body pillowcase companies, I’ve realized that ones that feature male characters are far and few between, and the scant few that do are pretty fugly all around (think JoJo, I know I’m upsetting someone’s taste here). The very, very few desirable ones I’ve seen were all someone’s garage kit jobs.
What do you do about it? I mean, are you in the same boat as I am, pining for your own Cospa Lelouch body pillow or willing to plunk down the same amount of money for a good Max Factory 1/8 scale Kyon figurine as a Bunny Girl Haruhi? Do you desperately check the high-quality figurine-makers’ sites everyday in hopes that they’ll announce something with manhood? Do you take it upon yourself to make your own pillowcase of your dream boy?
If anyone can point me to a maker of sexy young male figurines or body pillowcases, I’ll be forever indebted to you.

Ahh, we seem to both be reaching the start of Otaku extremeness. Over the last few days I’ve been searching all over the web for good figurines of my fav characters (same problem as you with the male figures I’m afraid). Unfortunately, they’re so dam expensive for something so litte, and most are so obviously catering for the guys, what with the more than subtle poses and the way the skirts are flowing etc. *sigh* Surely there must be good figures that arent made just for male fanservice?

$30 for a figurine? Now you’re making me feel bad! I spent $30 on the Code Geass 2008 calendar just because I didn’t find any wall scrolls or posters featuring Lelouch that didn’t include the girls, Suzaku, nor Lelouch himself looking mighty gay.
But… seconded on that Lelouch body pillow - completely seconded.

$30 dollars for the figurine? that’s actually really good! I spent $25 on a Souseiseki one during my Rozen Maiden craze and it was with a discount (bought it off a friend) and I still think this one’s more worth it
Lelouch is an awesome character XD
As far as figurines go, I wish they’d make some of Haruhi from Ouran or Wolfram from Kyou Kara Maou.

I’d totally shell out for a 1/8 scale Kyon or Itsuki if they made ‘em xD
An awful lot of figures are unabashedly male fanservice-y >>;; I bought one of those “blind boxes” from Figure Meister, turns of half of volume three is bunny girl Tsuruya in three different colors >.o I’m gonna try to sell it, maybe I’ll get a better one next time…

I’ve been searching desperately for something of Kyon. Anything! Why is it that the main narrator of the series still hasn’t been made into his very own 1/8 figurine? I’m still waiting. *raps fingers*

I think this store accepts personalized dakimakura orders for about the same prize of an official one, you only need to submit a picture.
I also crave male figurines. I have the one with the ‘fag’ Shinji because I’m a sick fujoshi ^^U
I really like female figurines though. They are very well made and I don’t regret 90% of my purchases. But yes more male ones please, I don’t want to buy those small cheaper ones, I rather like the big 60 dollar ones ^^
Just because you want some manliness in your room doesn’t mean your sexuality should be challenged. Jeez talk about insecure guys.
