CODE GEASS Lelouch of the Rebellion Insert Song - Alone

March 23, 2007 at 12:57 pm | In CODE GEASS Lelouch of the Rebellion, Lyrics - English, Lyrics - Romaji |

…Is this song hinting at Lelouch X Shirley? But Shirley is far more interesting when she doesn’t know about Lelouch; she actually acts in her true nature instead of all Lelou-deredere.

Vocals: Hitomi
Lyrics: Kuroishi Hitomi
Composition Kuroishi Hitomi

You whispered to me
All of your secrets and a kiss
I was happy and cried
I won’t forget about that night

Everything ended, but…

When love was still alive
The world seemed to be shining
Now we seem to be strangers
And I’m Alone

I wanted to go together with you
On the road that you wished for
Even though I wanted to be by your side
You left me

Was everything my dreaming?

When love was still alive
The world was in our hands
Will we be able to meet again someday?
Until that day, I’m Alone

When love was still alive
The world seemed to be shining
Now we seem to be strangers
And I’m Alone
Here by myself, Alone

  3. When I try to follow the lyrics they don’t seem the same?

  4. It’s because Hitomi sings in a nonsensical language for the song except for the English word “Alone”. However, the syllables of the Japanese lyrics match the syllables sang in the song, so it is possible to sing along if you make a karaoke of the song.
